DIY Studio Monitors

Three-way speakers (8″ Woofer) ca. 50l volume. They are now used as monitors in my studio. I recently upgraded the front baffle and decided to paint them black with some light decoration.
The midrange driver was added recently by implementing it in the digital crossover network (miniDSP). The placement is a bit improvised, but the speakers sound much more refined and neutral now (the distance between mid- and high range driver was accounted for in the crossover point).
The important midrange is now very well audible. To represent the full sonic spectrum, I added a cardioid subwoofer. The system sounds very open and big while also being able to play the softest dynamic sounds.
